RS Components has expanded its distribution agreement with Fairchild Semiconductor.
The expanded agreement recognises RS as an authorised reseller of Fairchild products and is intended to enable an improved customer purchasing experience of Fairchild’s broad portfolio of mobile, energy-efficient power analogue, power discrete and optoelectronic solutions.
“RS Components has proven to be a highly professional distributor with an unsurpassed reputation for service excellence,” said Mark Norman, senior vice president, worldwide regional sales, marketing and distribution at Fairchild. “Their commitment to support Fairchild will bring multiple benefits to the supply chain, providing our customers with more solution offerings, which are readily available to ship to any location.”
RS currently holds inventory of around 1,500 Fairchild parts, and recently added more than 400 new products. Further expansion of its inventory will eventually include the entire Fairchild product line and will be available from stock for same-day despatch.
