RS Components has signed a global franchise agreement with ON Semiconductor.
"The value that RS brings to our business is already well-established," said Jeff Thomson, ON Semiconductor vice president of Global Channel Sales. "RS clearly understands the needs of our customers, and is constantly honing methods to hasten the products' path to market, which profits the entire supply chain. This agreement will strengthen our relationship and open up opportunities for future growth."
Chris Page, Global Offer Director for Electrocomponents said, "This franchise agreement will increase access for customers to the ON Semiconductor range and highlights the growing trend by leading manufacturers to look to RS as a key channel partner. With our global reach, and our commitment to engage with design engineers, we have a vital role to play in maximising the market potential of our suppliers' products."
RS currently stocks approximately 2,500 individual devices in the ON Semiconductor portfolio and, as part of the franchise agreement, will augment its offer to deliver even greater choice to customers. This will include access to the latest product innovations from the semiconductor manufacturer, all competitively priced and available from RS stock for same-day despatch.
