Analog Devices has named Gernot Faigel to the position of Regional Channel Director, EMEA Region (Europe, Middle East and Africa).
Gernot will manage ADI’s distribution business across the region and will be responsible for optimising ADI’s sales and support model for the many customers serviced via ADI’s network of authorised distribution partners – namely Arrow, Silica, Semitron, Premier Farnell and Digi-Key in addition to the semiconductor manufacturer's specialised regional channel partners.
Gernot joined ADI’s Austrian Sales office in Vienna in 1995 and was most recently the Eastern European Regional Sales Manager reporting to Peter Kolberg, Director of Sales, Eastern European Region. In this position, he made outstanding contributions to the company’s Eastern European business, establishing a highly efficient organization which has paved the foundation for future success. Gernot also gained a deep understanding of ADI’s business and customers, and worked firsthand with the company’s channel partners.
