Honours Showered on Digi-Key

The trophy cupboard at Digi-Key might need enlarging following a successful couple of weeks for the Thief River Falls-based distributor.

At the EDS convention in Las Vegas, Digi-Key was named as Distributor of the Year by Vishay and LED manufacturer Kingbright presented with its Million Dollar Club/Outstanding Sales Performance Award.

And to round off a successful week www.digikey.com was recognised with the Best Website award as part of the EDS Best of the Best award ceremony.

Finally C&K Components selected Digi-Key as recipient of its 2009 Distributor of the Year Award.

And to put the icing on the cake Digi-Key was also recognised by the US Department of Labor for providing employment for veterans and members of the US military at its Thief River Falls headquarters.

The company currently employs a dozen active military service personnel - two of whom are on duty overseas and dozens of veterans.
