Five cities are slated to host the event - Paris, Strasbourg, Toulouse, Lyons and Nantes. The one day seminars concentrate on the markets the technologies and new products aimed at helping engineers get their products to market faster.
Each event will have a different agenda. In Strasbourg the emphasis will be on wireless technologies, wired comms and low energy applications. The Paris stage of the Tour will focus on microcontroller, microprocessor, FPGA and wire comms technologies in the M2M, aerospace/military, building automation and networking markets. A number of Avnet Memec suppliers have already signed up to participate including Actel, uBlox, Lattice Semiconductor, Sierra Wireless and Semtech.
