Wilkinson Reinforces Windows Team at Nu Horizons

Nu Horizons in the UK has wasted no time in strengthening its team following its appointment as a Microsoft Embedded Windows Authorised Distributor.

It has named Gordon Wilkinson as business development manager for the line. In his new role Wilkinson will take responsibility for developing sales of Microsoft Windows Embedded licenses in the UK as well as training and dissemination of new product information to customers, and hands-on consultancy.

“As a specialist in system solution sales, Gordon’s extensive experience working in worldwide tier 1 and 2 companies and his excellent communications skills will be invaluable as we look to develop our Microsoft Windows Embedded offering and further penetrate the embedded marketplace in Europe,” states Phil Gee, VP Sales EMEA for Nu Horizons.

Wilkinson has more than 15 years’ experience in the embedded computing, telecommunications and DPS industries. He was previously business development manager at Aurix Ltd, a specialist in true phonetic speech analysis for compliance, business intelligence and data search. Wilkinson has also worked for Trinity Convergence, a developer of embedded software for SIP, VoIP and video-conferencing, and held posts at Motorola, Blue Wave Systems and Loughborough Sound Images.
