Solid State Supplies Relishes Dream Day

Solid State Supplies notched a double recently scooping two supplier awards on the same day.

The distributor has been named a Top Three Embedded EMEA Partner by Digi for the second successive year, coming in second place overall. Atlantik Elektronik in Germany was awarded first place. The award was presented at the Digi European Wireless Congress, the company's annual partner event in Landshut, Germany.

 

 "This award is a tribute to the hard work and dedication of our team," commented John Macmichael, commercial director at Solid State Supplies. "To be honoured in successive years is a huge achievement, and since Digi has more than 70 European channel partners I am especially proud."

 

Announced the same day, Solid State Supplies senior application engineer Matt Cook won the Top Design Opportunity for an EMEA distributor from Rabbit Semiconductor for its MiniCore product range. Cook has done extensive design-in work for the Rabbit MiniCore range including applications in networked gaming machines and metering. The MiniCore range of microcontroller modules is Rabbit's smallest and lowest cost embedded solution, and comes with Ethernet or WiFi capability in a mini-PCI express form factor.
