European Champs: Farnell has won the Distributor of the Year award at Electronics Weekly's prestigious Elektra awards. The judges specifically praised the Leeds-based distributor's innovative use of the Internet as a key factor in the company's success. Earlier this year the company launched element14 a social networking community for electronic design engineers.
