Digi-Key has launched a newly-redesigned version of its toolbar.
The new version of Digi-Key's Toolbar allows for additional customisation. Features include quick access to each of Digi-Key's 25 country-specific websites and eight language options, giving the user the ability to choose a preferred language without affecting the Digi-Key country site the user is searching or any of his other computer/browser settings. Additionally, a user can display the functions used most in the user's toolbar as well as customise the appearance of buttons and the order in which they appear.
The new toolbar also features new search capabilities that provide a seamless interaction with Digi-Key's part search, immediate access to a user's My Digi-Key page, a complete listing of Digi-Key's extensive product listing categories, one-click access to its line card, and access to Digi-Key's training and technology tools through the use of the new Resources menu.
Information on how to download the new toolbar, which includes instructions for both Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox installation, can be found at www.digikey.com/toolbar.
"The redesign of our toolbar was in direct response to feedback from our customers," said Tony Harris, Digi-Key vice president, e-Commerce. "The goal of our toolbar is to help customers derive the most from our websites from anywhere on the Internet. It's all about making their jobs easier, and when it comes to improvements, who better to suggest them than the design engineers and purchasing agents who are using them?"
We are always looking for ways to better assist our customers.
Thanks for your comment, Mark.
