Avnet Embedded has upgraded its technical support to Italian customers.
It has established a comprehensive phone and e-mail technical service covering the whole familyof Windows Embedded operating systems. The service will be delivered in Italian by a team of technical specialists.
Nick Donaldson (pictured), director of software, Avnet Embedded, added “This service is a European first for Avnet Embedded. Our vision is to roll the same concept out Europe-wide, using our experience in Italy as a model.”
“We are one of the first Microsoft Authorised Embedded Distributors in Europe to offer this level of support,” said
Cesare de Siena, business development manager, Italy for Avnet Embedded. “The service is based on a call centre with a team of technical specialists offering response via email, phone and Skype. These specialists are Italian speaking and each have typically over 25 years of relevant technical experience. In addition, we can enrol customers on dedicated hands-on training courses at the Microsoft Innovation Centre in Italy.”
