Octasic Signals French Connection

Octasic Semiconductor has signed a distribution agreement with DIP International, a specialist in communications semiconductors with offices in Paris.

Under the terms of the agreement, DIP will provide localised sales and support for Octasic’s silicon and software voice, video and data solutions for converged carrier, enterprise and end-point communication equipment manufacturers in France.

Octasic's products are based on its clock-less Opus DSP core architecture, which provides the highest performance-to-power ratio in the industry. Coupled with Octasic's pristine voice and video quality algorithms, developers can significantly reduce their system cost while enhancing total solution quality.

Among its other distributors in Europe are Pertronics in the UK and Ireland, Demos Technologies in Russia and FAW in Italy and Greece.
