It has added an ew group which will be dedicated support for customers in the field of medical technology.
Rudy Van Parijs, vice president, technical development at EBV Elektronik argues the strategy is backed by the growing number of medical challenges across all age groups.
"This leads to an increasing number of people that either need to be treated or at least need to be monitored, he said. "These changes are raising the demand for electronic medical applications. The markets for patient monitoring, implants and medical imaging are expected to grow very fast. EBV has now formed a dedicated team that supports manufacturers of electronic medical applications on an EMEA level in the development of better and new devices that meet the requirements of these fast growing applications."
Tailor made commercial, technical and logistical support will be provided.
EBV has also broadened the scope of its specialist automotive sales group to encompass the whole of the EMEA region. Previously it covered Central Europe only.
"This expansion is based on our strategy to offer the same level of services and products to our customers from Dublin and Dubai, from Copenhagen to Cape Town," commented Frank-Steffen Russ, Vertical Sales Manager, Automotive.
