To celebrate the deal, Anglia is giving away £6000 worth of Fastrax evaluation kits to selected customers in the region.
Said John Bowman, divisional marketing manager for Anglia, "We regard Fastrax as world leader in GPS location module technology for tracking assets from vehicles to goods consignments to livestock and even children. Alongside our relationship with Cinterion, a world leader in GSM and GPRS modules, this represents a very powerful portfolio for anyone involved in tracking and tracing."
Five Anglia wireless engineers have traveled to Helsinki for in-depth training which added Bowman, "will enable us to offer comprehensive application support and design assistance to our customers."
Under the deal, Anglia gets access to the full range of Fastrax GPS modules including the IT500 which has a sensitivity of -165dBm. The module boasts high acquisition sensitivity which enables cold start in unpromising conditions. It can operate in urban canyons and other environments where signal quality is poor.
If you want to apply for the kits go to www.anglia-m2m.com and complete the online registration form.
