TTI has been signed up by Tyco Electronics to bring the Raychem range of military and aerospace products to the broader distribution market.
The new agreement encompasses Raychem's moulded parts, crimps, heat-shrink tubing and solder sleeves. Raychem plies a successful trade in providing products for harsh environments in commercial and military aircraft, ground defence systems, space and offshore/marine applications.
Ros Kruger, TTI's industry marketing director, military, aero and space commented, "Adding the world class Raychem range to our military and aerospace portfolio of TE products will give customers immediate access to stock when and where they require it using our Advanced Inventory Reservation System (AIRS)."
She added, "Historically this major product set has been sold mainly to the military and aerospace market through specialist agents and has not been widely available for general distribution, so we are proud to have been chosen by Tyco Electronics to spearhead its introduction into broader markets."
"TTI is one of Europe's top distributors with a presence in all markets," said Paul Walker, Tyco Electronics sales director for aerospace, defence and marine in EMEA. "They are committed to having available inventory across their entire franchise base which ensures supply to end customers, a strategy which has led to success in penetrating both new geographic and vertical markets, and we look forward to further strengthening our partnership with them for our Raychem branded product range."
Among the many Tyco Electronics products distributed by TTI are the AMP, Augat, M/A-Com and Potter & Brumfield brands.
