As Windows Embedded gets more, eh, embedded so potential developers need to know more about the what's required to use the technology.
And help is at hand. Direct Insight, which is not only a Windows Embedded Training Partner but also a Windows Embedded Gold Partner and Avnet Embedded, a top European distributor of Microsoft's Embedded Operating Systems have teamed up to present two three-day training courses.
The courses will help attendees prepare for Microsoft Technical Specialist Certifications in using Microsoft Embedded Operating Systems to create embedded devices.
"Resulting in a recognised qualification, these courses provide a measurable benefit to our customers," commented Nick Donaldson (pictured) director, Avnet Embedded - software. "We are very pleased to be running this training programme with Direct Insight to reinforce our dedication to the development and training of embedded developers."
Added David Pashley, managing director of Direct Insight, "As a leading training provider for Windows Embedded technologies it's our job to educate and empower developers to use these powerful technologies. I hope that the idea of running these courses in a relaxed, friendly environment will be useful to organisations preparing to embark upon developing new connected devices."
The environment Pashley refers to is Direct Insight's rural Oxfordshire headquarters (no distractions there!). There will be informal hand-on training and plenty of opportunities for questions and discussion. An optional fourth day is available for any attendees wanting to prepare for the Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist exams.
There are two courses starting on September 8 and September 15. For more information go to
