PEI-Genesis's recently signed worldwide deal with Polamco is gathering pace.
With an eye to the the military and aerospace markets, the distributor has started stocking its shelves with Polamco's 91 series connector backshells which are compliant for use with MIL-DTL-38999 and MIL-DTL-26482 military circular connectors.
All the variants of the backshells, which come in both straight and right-angle versions, incorporate a constant force spring to keep braids in place, producing a 360° screen termination with electrical and mechanical characteristics which are unaffected by vibration, shock or extreme temperature.
PEI genesis can supply customised backshells to meet specific requirements. It says it will turn around design drawings in a matter of hours, ahead of a rapid turnround to finished products.
During the past 12 months worldwide PEI Genesis assembled a total of 8,354,671 connectors from 226, 068 orders covering 52,èçé different part numbers.
