Surtech Distribution which specialises in enclosures and accessories has launched into the assembly and manufacturing business with its own brand of power distribution units (PDUs).
The units are aimed at applications requiring controlled power distribution for the data communications, telecommunications and electronics markets. Surtech claims they come into their own where space is limited and cable management techniques are used.
They can also be used in applications which require power to be switched, monitored or filtered individually or in selected groups. Surtech will fit the units directly into racking and enclosures if required or supply them separately.
The units come in standard configuration of 13A, IEC or Schuko outlets in both horizontal and vertical versions suitable for mounting in 19in racks.
Customised versions can be supplied to meet customers production schedules, says Surtech.
