Korean passive components manufacturer Samwha is looking to step up its sales pace into European industrial, automotive and consumer electronics suppliers with a new distribution partner.
It has signed up Future Electronics to sell Samwha products in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. It sees Future's 43-strong European network of offices as a step to significantly increasing availability of its products in the European market place.
Commented Chris McAneny, director of business development at Future Electronics, "Samwha is a very competitive supplier for our thousands of industrial customers. It makes high quality electrolytic capacitors and super-caps at very competitive prices. We think that Samwha's devices will enable us to help our customers reduce bill-of-materials costs without compromising quality. They complement well our already strong complement of passive component suppliers."
Tae-Jin Shim, deputy general manager (Europe) for Samwha added, "Future Electronics has a very large network of sales and support centres through EMEA and is a trusted supplier to many thousands of OEMs."
