RS Launches Legislation Web Site

RS Components has launched an online Technology Solutions Centre for the ATEX and IECEx legislation to help engineers source compliant products and technical solutions as well as find the latest information about the standards.

rswww.com/automationcontains all relevant information in one place, including details of the legislation and any updates, links to ATEX products and a free downloadable wall-chart that illustrates the structure of the standards. There are over 1,000 ATEX approved products ready for next day delivery available to source in one place. 

RS feels that most working with the industry are familiar with the DSEAR legislation, which came into force in 2003,however some may not be aware of the IECEx scheme that is set to introduce global product approval. 

RS’ new Technical Resource Centre explains these and other changes in depth and enables the selection of the most appropriate products and solutions for individual applications.
