Mouser and Multi-Tech Systems have agreed to extend their distribution agreement.
Multi-Tech supplies telephony; internet, remote access and device networking products that connect voice and data over IP networks. The addition of Asia and Europe means the two companies are co-operating together on a global basis, and is in tune with Mouser's expansion plans in the two regions. It plans additional customer centres in both regions during 2009. These are supported by local language websites and local currencies.
Mike Scott, Mouser's vice president of active products remarks, "We are excited that Multi-Tech has extended our distribution agreement to a global status."

"Mouser's worldwide reach is impressive and our modems are already certified by more than 20 carriers in more than 40 countries. This is of huge value to international customers who are looking to quickly deploy a solution with data communication capability."
The Multi-Tech stock at Mouser will include embedded solutions for Ethernet/Dial-up modules and WiFi modules as well as development tools.
