UK-based Aspen Electronics has signed up to distribute TDK-Lambda's high power - 300W and above - products.
Aspen plans to focus on the Genesys and Zup ranges of rack-mountable, programmable power supplies which are targeted OEM, R&D, test and laboratory applications. These products will be backed by the high-power, front-end power supplies including the FPS, HWS and SWS and single output Vega series.
According to Steve Read, sales manager at TDK Lambda, "Aspen Electronics has an in-depth understanding of the programmable power supply market and associated communication interfaces. Its close ties with the manufacturing, instrumentation, broadcast, military/aerospace markets make it an ideal partner and a great asset to our UK support network."
Neil Reynolds, product manager at Aspen Electronics added, "There is a wide variety of programmable power supplies on the market, so selecting the most suitable and reliable supply for the task in hand is not a trivial matter. These are just two good reasons why engineers come to us for advice first. We have in-depth expertise in the programmable power supply market and we already have an established customer base and opportunities database."
