I think Mouser must have a rota for signing distribution agreements. I mean there's one a week at the moment so it's best to spread the load.
The latest company to put their moniker next to Mouser is the Canadian company Elprotronic, a supplier of flash programmers as well as a prototyping and consulting service. It specialises in programmers for Texas Instruments microcontrollers which allows programming of the semiconductor giant's MSP430, C2000 and CCxx (Chipcon) MCUs using GUI software.
According to Elprotronic by using the Multi-FPA API-DLL up to 16 programmers can be controlled from one PC via USB ports using external application software, a useful aid in the production process.
Gregory Czajkowski is the owner and president of Elprotronic and he says his company is delighted to become part of the Mouser portfolio. "Elprotronic's focus has always been to support our customers design community by supplying the most specialised Flash programmers," he added. "Mouser provides an effective sales channel to tap into this crucial engineering base."
Mike Scott, Mouser's vice president of active products concurs. "Mouser's focus on the design engineer, and the desire to become their preferred supplier, continues with the addition of the Elprotronic line. These flexible flash programmers support one of our key semiconductor partners."
