A variety of new switch products could be on the European market soon following an acquisition by one of the US's leading switch suppliers.
Stein Industries, the parent company of E-Switch has bought the Portland, Oregon-based Lamb Industries. At present Lamb's products are available through distributors or local representatives in Italy, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland and Israel.
According to an E-Switch spokesperson, over the next few months the company will be making the transition of Lamb Industries' products through it's current rep and distributor network. In Europe the E-Switch distributor network is dominated by Future Electronics, supported by local distributors in most countries.
New products E-Switch has gained from the acquisition include anti-vandal switches, power rockers and an extended range of illuminated switches.
