Connectivity in its various forms is the focus for both Farnell and Mouser Electronics.
Farnell has taken the online route creating a guide to connectivity solutions which showcases over 3500 of its communications-related technologies. Users will find, alongside a raft of key products support for end-to-end communication designs providing design tips, solutions, data sheets and useful technical articles. Using the design guide engineers can select and purchase the most appropriate product for their applications. The distributor has also added more than 1500 new communications-related products and components to its portfolio. These cover protocols such as USB, Ethernet and Bluetooth, as well as proprietary technologies from specialist suppliers.

Mouser's introduction is based around its FCI franchise. It is now stocking that company's high speed and power cable assemblies. Cable assemblies include Mini-SAS/SATA, Densishield and Power D-sub. These cable assemblies provide full signal integrity support.
Power cable assemblies include USP+Power, PwrTwinBlade and Power D-sub. These are aimed at backplane-to-card interface, power distribution and thermal management.
