Connector maker Harting's 2008 Global Catalogue Distributor of the Year Award has been won by RS Components.
As you can see from the picture there was a good turnout for the presentation. None of that RS couldn't be here in person to accept the award apologia going on here.
Doreen Sanderson, distribution manager for Harting kicked off the plaudits observing that the name of RS Components is synonymous with excellent customer service including next day delivery, and they have given us excellent support over the past year.
"In particular they have worked closely with us on new product introductions and developing markets, and we look forward to maintaining this excellent relationship in the future," she added.
Responding Kevin Thompson, general manager of product management for RS Components commented, "We have worked with Harting to build the right range for R&D and maintenance customers worldwide. We always look to provideour customers the best value for money offer available anywhere. It is gratifying to have this acknowledged by Harting with their award."
