Engineers using field programmable gate arrays (FPGAs) are about to get help on power supply design techniques.
Avnet Electronics Marketing has joined with Texas Instruments and Xilinx to produce an eight-part weekly video series. The Analog eLab video series features engineering subject matter experts from all three companies discussing and demonstrating solutions and best practices for typical design considerations.
Each video is about 5 to 15 minutes long and helps solve the challenges in various stages of power supply design, including analysing system requirements, researching compatible devices, circuit design and verifying completed hardware.
"The philosophy behind the series is to demonstrate recommended design methodology for FPGA system power supply, and includes design information from Xilinx, tools and devices from TI and a system example from Avnet," said Jim Beneke, vice president of global technical marketing for Avnet Electronics Marketing.
The videos will be launched weekly from January 28 next year. If you want to know more go to www.em.avnet.com/FPGAPowerelab
