There's no stopping RS Components. A raft of announcements at the electronica exhibition have been followed by more initiatives.
The company has signed a new pan-European deal with interconnect specialist FCI and in a separate deal is bolstering its current portfolio of Honeywell products in Asia and Europe with 500 new lines.
The new products are aimed specifically at the food and beverage, petrochemical and machine building industries. Honeywell will be sharing enhanced technical data and specifications through the RS web site to further support engineers with the application of the products.
The FCI deal brings the full range of the interconnect specialist's products into Europe via the RS web site and catalogue.
I'm sure RS will be delighted. In the interests of balance you should know that Farnell, Digi-Key and Mouser have a similar strategy and all have easy to find web sites
