The UK and Ireland component distribution market will fall by 9 per cent in the first half of 2009 according to industry association AFDEC. The organisation declined to issue a forecast for the whole year for the first time in over 20 years of forecasting the market due to economic uncertainties and a chronic lack of market confidence.
