Chaps, if you haven't bought the wife's Christmas pressie yet, the doghouse beckons. Though judging by the crazed look on a few faces at the shops today, there were plenty leaving it to the last minute.
Of course they were also the smart guys as stores cut prices even more to get the shoppers out onto the High Streets and into the shopping malls. Food consumption will rise drastically in the next few days and looking at the grub piled up in the trolleys some people must be entertaining the 45 man squad of an American football team!
It's a great holiday, especially for sports fans. The UK football (soccer) teams will play two games in three days - Boxing Day and then Sunday. They are never very happy about it, but it's a tradition, and I shall be off to watch my team, Millwall on the Sunday.
I'll be keeping an eye on the business between Christmas and the New Year so if anything crops up I'll write about it. For now I'll take a couple of days off, and whatever your plans are I hope you all have a Happy and Peaceful Christmas.
