RS Components has signed a sales agreement with Crydom, the solid state relays and power modules producer.
The deal follows a successful engagement with Allied Electronics, RS Components' sister company in the U.S. Targeted activities activities have been undertaken in Spain and Germany. Through the joint efforts of RS and Crydom sales managers in Spain, Crydom products have been designed into the latest product development for one of the world’s largest printing and personal computing companies. In addition to this activity, collaborations in UK, Germany, France and Italy have already resulted in strong sales into the market.
“The agreement with RS Components is an important step in strengthening Crydom’s leadership position in solid state switching and we are excited to have a stronger partnership with RS across the European region, and into Asia Pacific.” said Bruce McEachran, Key Account Manager for Crydom. “Additionally, through RS’ robust e-Commerce platform, we are confident we can provide the services the market expects and drive improved levels of customer satisfaction, technical support and sales of our products.”
Further marketing activity planned in the coming months is focused around building brand awareness of the Crydom range. RS will carry over 350 products, all held in stock for immediate dispatch to customers.
