It has now launched a range of Halogen free commercial and safety certified disc capacitors together with multilayer radial and axial leaded ceramic capacitors from Holystone, one of its suppliers. The products meet the international requirements governing the need for more environmentally friendly alternatives to halogenated materials. This includes RoHS, WEEE and the possibly less familiar JGPSSI (Japan Green Procurement Survey Standardisation Initiative)
This means a maximum bromine and chlorine level of 900ppm each or a combined total of 1500ppm separately.
