Reference boards and development tools were once the domain of suppliers. Not any more... and Arrow has provided further evidence unveiling an evaluation board for designers looking to develop FPGA-based display applications.
Developed by Arrow's European reference board team and design partner Axor International, the EasyLCD Evaluation Board is based around the low-cost Lattice ECP2 architecture.
All of the EasyLCD hardware has been designed by Arrow's European reference board engineering team with support from its design partner.
Comment: Arrow's alliance with Axor is proving fruitful and beneficial to its suppliers too. Lattice must be tickled pink by this input and it is yet another example of the demand creation process suppliers crave from their distributors.
