In the olden, golden days of EDA when everyone who was able to afford a trade licence in the Valley just knew he would make a fortune selling to Cadence one year later and Magma was a synonym for good parties at DAC. Since then, EDA has lost some of its glamour and, longing for it, some companies try their luck at the races.
E³.series is widely used in the automotive industry, adopted at the heart of electrical design with many major car manufacturers from around the globe.
»We can’t wait to move from our manual electrical design process to working with the industry’s leading electrical design software,« said Pieter Danneels, head of the electronics department in the universities racing team.
After three years of doing their automotive electrical design manually, the team chose E³.series to automate the process. The 2011 car will feature some electrical design work using E³.series, but only in in the design of the 2012 car, the software will be used in full.
This is the second Formula Student university project that Zuken is sponsoring, the other is the team from Esslingen University.
All the manufacturers are looking forward for the use of hydrogen as a fuel but the explosive nature of hydrogen is not the only problem. How to store it whether in liquid or in compressed gas is also the point of discussion.

Now days hydrogen vehicle had become very famous mostly automotive sector is trying to make an better hydrogen car for the best future as it would be an eco friendly car.

I wonder how non-fossil fuel driven automobiles will affect the racing and modification niches. Do you think hydrogen driven cars would be easy to diagnose and fix as traditional cars?

Very interesting to see hydrogen race cars; it would be nice if the technology could also be applied to future green cars.
