Goepel Electronic recently introduced a new FlexRay test tool. basicFlexScope 3095 is a bus analysis and validation tool for FlexRay networks that integrates four functions; bus analyser, bus simulator, oscilloscope trigger and fault simulator.
All functions can be easily operated using the user software FlexScope Control Centre. The device samples and records bus data including the entire FlexRay frame with frame reader, CRC check sums and data bits. These data is being checked for errors on the fly. basicFlexScope 3095 is connected to the host PC system via Ethernet. The FlexRay bus is contacted by means of two nine-pin D-SUB connectors, a BNC connector provides the trigger signal for the oscilloscope.
The FlexScope Control Center software also helps parametrizing the test system and visualises messages and signal variations.
basicFlexScope 3095 is connected to the host PC system via a 10/100 MBit/s Ethernet interface. This is a big advantage!
